We are accepting orders online for the pizza farm starting on Tuesdays of each week. Orders will be accepted until Thurs 8pm for Friday service, and then orders are accepted until Fri 8pm for Saturday service.
You can eat at the farm picnic style, choose a table in our limited seating barn, or take your preorder to go.
If you miss the window for preordering, you may simply show up to the farm and order when you get here. Or you may call the farm for a take-out only order when we're open for service on Fridays and Saturdays. Please call before 5pm for takeout if possible.
You will need to select a desired pizza pickup time frame when ordering. On the 2nd step of the checkout page, you can schedule a specific time slot you’d like to pickup your pizza.
You will receive a receipt after you order. However, the time on the receipt may NOT be for your actual pickup time. Look for another email directly from Heather which will confirm your scheduled pickup time. I know this is a little confusing, but we are working within the confines of our software limitations.
PREORDERS must check in at the BAR once you arrive at the farm so that we know you've arrived. Beverages are available for purchase at the bar and the main ordering counter.
WALK-IN customers will place orders at the main ordering window which is where pizza ordering has occurred in previous seasons.
We do provide several picnic tables spaced outside on the farm. However, you're encouraged to bring your own chairs/blankets to create your own picnic spot socially distanced from others in the yard.
A majority of our ingredients come from the fields on our farm. Naturally raised meats, vegetables, herbs, and fruits are staples for our on-farm kitchen. The farmers that sow the seeds and tend the animals utilize the harvest to inspire our restaurant menus and prepare simple, wholesome food. Although we love that many people refer to us fondly as a pizza farm, there are many things we grow and prepare from the farm besides pizza.
We offer several opportunities to gather year round and enjoy foods from Suncrest Gardens and other local producers. Our famous wood-fired pizza is offered weekly during the summer. We also host a variety of events featuring homemade soups, multi-course meals, and seasonal dishes inspired from our farm pantry. We provide a local delivery service (or you can pick up orders at the farm too!) for our frozen farm goods including soups, pizzas, pasture raised meats, pizza making suppies, jam, hummus, and more.
Heather Secrist, owner and farmer at Suncrest Gardens Farm, designed the small 16 acre farm out of her love of food, her desire to care for the land and feed her family well, and her hope to create a place that brings community together around the table. The farm started in 2004 and has evolved continually. What began as a little farmer's market stand in her hometown of Alma, grew to a year round CSA for as many as 60 families, and now has shifted its focus to the kitchen where we create ready-to-eat foods out of all the items we raise at the farm. Our on-farm restaurant cooks thousands of our infamous wood-fired pizzas, appetizers, and desserts every summer to guests who visit Suncrest Gardens Farm in beautiful Yaeger Valley.
